Dragonslayer Spear > Peeve (Exclusive Video)

This was a tough duel primarily due to the fact that i've yet to get used to fighting against the Dragonslayer Spear. I have always struggled against it, and in the hands of someone like Raven, it's tough to beat.

You may have noticed neither of us bow. I've noticed the few times i fight Raven, anytime i bow to him, he two-hands his spear and blocks with it - that is his form of bowing. Pretty clever actually, considering he doesn't run the risk of getting backstabbed mid-bow, yet he still shows respect in his own unique way. However, there was no bowing or spear raising in this match.

I had just started to get used to using the bow with my build. Long-range red tearstone damage can be very useful.

I have also come up with a new way to bait players into my parries. If you notice at 3:10 (and a few more times after), i lure him in by drawing back the bow, then switch to the shield to quickly attempt a parry. I am still getting used to the timing. It's a work-in-progress, but it does work very well.

The ending is insane, lol. He could've gone and grabbed a cup of coffee, sat down, had a bowl of Cookie Crisp cereal, and then stood up to riposte me. This is apparently the longest time allowed to follow up with a riposte, since i actually began to move after. Lag+Backstab = Lagstab...so does Lag+Riposte = Lagposte?
